Initial consultation (Ms. Patrick): $400 for up to 90 minutes
Initial consultation (Mr. Timmins): $350 for up to 90 minutes
Initial consultation (Mr. Smith): $300 for up to 90 minutes
Hourly rates: Ms. Patrick - $360 all matters
Mr. Timmins - $290 family law matters, $300 probate/criminal matters
Mr. Smith - $225 family law matters, $240 appellate work
Paralegal - $110 family law matters, $130 probate/criminal matters
Legal assistant - $75
Administrative assistant - $35
Most cases are charged on an hourly basis and are paid from your funds held in Trust, in an amount determined at the consultation.
Parent Coordinator services (Ethan Timmins): $200 an hour, with a $2000 initial retainer
Absolute, uncontested divorce: $1100-1500, depending on attorney; plus cost of publication or Sheriff service if required; fee quoted includes filing fees
Uncontested separation agreement: $3500 retainer, billed against hourly at attorney’s rate
Uncontested step-parent adoption: $3750
Uncontested standard adoption: $4250
Contested adoption (including any needing a Termination of Parental Rights): attorney hourly rate, minimum initial retainer $5000
Basic will: $900
Mirrored wills (for two): $1500
Minor’s trust within will: $150
Stand-alone Trust: varies, minimum $1200
Durable power of attorney, health care power of attorney, living will: $150 each if done in conjunction with a Will or Trust.
DUI/BUI (Driving Under the Influence, Boating Under the Influence): $3500 minimum fee, billed hourly if total costs exceed $3500
Criminal: varies, determined at consult
